Further to the announcement dated 31 October 2006, Aseambankers Malaysia Berhad on behalf of the Board of Directors of EFB, wishes to clarify that in respect of section 3 of the said announcement, Takeuchi MDF Sdn Bhd ("TMDF") has secured logs and wood chips supply contracts with a remaining period of six (6) years up to 2012.

In addition, we wish to further clarify that the cost of investment and net book value as at 31 December 2005 for Assets of TMDF should be RM115,155,707 and RM37,005,608 respectively.
